MY BACKGROUND

"Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto", says a nosey character in a Terentius comedy: I am a human being, I don't consider alien anything of what's human. As a human being, I try to live by this quote. Research interests, however, have to be narrow in order to be acute.

My background lies in general Philosophy of Science and Social Epistemology, with more than a brush with formal and social analyses of decision-making processes, human rationality, and public policies, specifically focusing on medical and pharmacological questions. These days I meddle with Game Theory, Philosophy of Medicine, Behavioural Interventions such as Nudges&Boosts, trying to carry forward a Cognitive Science of Medicine and Pharmacology.

I'm currently a Ph.D. student in Cognitive, Computational and Social Neuroscience at IMT School for Advanced Studies, Lucca.
